Arsenal Women's New 26/27 Away Kit Is Another Adidas Winner
The new Arsenal 26/27 away kit has been released with a callback to an iconic design.
Friday, 24th July 2026, and Arsenal have come to recoup some of the money that they've been spending on transfers because it's the new kit launch day. Yes, we have the new Arsenal away kit for both the men and the women.
As I mentioned on the Arsenal Women: Trailblazers podcast, I got my order in as soon as the email came in. I was on autopilot, and it wasn't so much driven by the actual kit launch or even the kit itself; it was driven by the fact that I had already decided that the away shirt, whatever it ended up being, I was going to go for Number 22 Ona Batlle on the back. So I got my order in and ordered the authentic version of the men's shirt with Ona and her number on the back in the WSL font, and I've gone for the WSL and Women's Champions Cup badges.
I'm not sure where they actually put the Women's Champions Cup patch. I don't know if they also put it on the sleeve with the WSL patch or on the chest. But I'll find out when it arrives in five to seven working days' time! I will have some pictures of the kit up on Instagram, but you probably will have already seen it by the time this article comes out.
The kit itself is absolutely gorgeous! It's another stunner from Adidas. It's a really, really deep blue. I'm really sorry I've got to go into this one because, as some of you know, my day job is bespoke tailoring here in London, and so I always look at these things with a slightly different eye to a lot of people. But the kit launch involved Ian Wright, Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori, and Chloe Kelly.
And another lady who I wasn't sure who she was on launch day, but have since worked out that it's none other than Little Simz!
And Wrighty's looking really good these days, isn't he?
He's actually wearing pleated single-pleat jeans in this shoot, which I've not seen for a very long time. I don't know if they're coming back into fashion, but that's actually a really interesting look. Anyway, back to the kit.

So as you can see, we've got the Adidas stripes on the shoulders in yellow. The neckline crosses over at the front, and that's in red, navy, and yellow. That's then copied in reverse on the sleeve ends, and then we've got the "Emirates Fly Better" slogan, the Arsenal Cannon, on the left of the chest and the Adidas logo on the right in yellow. Obviously, the back is plain, but it will have your name and number or your favourite player's name and number, depending on what you decide to do.
The club says the story behind this kit and its design is that it's inspired by the iconic 1991 bruised banana kit. It definitely gives off some of those vibes and celebrates the stories that live behind the shirt.
The club says in it's marketing: "Stories that begin in childhood and stay with us for life. Since the Invincibles, since that Bergkamp goal, since Rice's free-kick goals under the lights, since joining Hale End, since hearing Arsenal chants sung as lullabies. Every supporter and every player has a story of why it was always Arsenal. The 26-27 Away Kit is for those stories and for the new ones waiting to be written."
And there's a little video for each person: Ian Wright, Chloe Kelly, Declan Rice, Little Simz and Ricardo Calafiori all explain why it was always Arsenal for them.

So go check it out over at arsenal.com and let me know if you're going to be ordering one and which player you'll be having on your back for this season. I have gone for Ona. I think I want to complete my set of our Spanish players, so I might order the goalkeeper's top with Misa on the back, number 16. I've already got Mariona, number 8; she is on my away kit from last season.
And I think when they release the third kit, because I will have run out of Spanish players by then, I might go with Alessia Russo. But let's see when that gets released. Anyway, there we go. New kit news, very, very exciting. It looks absolutely gorgeous, and I cannot wait to wear that to the Emirates this season.
